Plasti-Dip, anyone?
« on: April 13, 2015, 10:14:04 am »
I decided to try out this spray on the FT. What's cool is you can peel it off with no damage to the original paint. I still need to do the forks, I'm also thinking of getting black fork boots to eliminate more chrome. i also REALLY like R2WW2R's blacked out wheels on his FT, so I'm probably going to paint them all black as well

Plastidip is great, just make sure you put on enough coats and follow the directions or else it doesn't peel off cleanly.

Looks good.

I used a can of the original black Plasti-Dip to cover a steel battery retention bracket. The stuff worked real well.
