Looking For Pinion Gear Assembly

I own a 1982 Honda Ascot FT500.
The pinion gear is smashed, looking for rod gear and pinion and whatever else comes with assembly. Have been stuck on this for months. About to give up. Any suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated it. Parts in photo. Pm or comment if any info available.
