Title: "Goldrush" ride on my FT500
Post by: patrino on August 15, 2018, 01:32:27 pm
Just finished up a ~1000 mile ride on my FT500.  Had a blast and the bike pretty much didn't miss a beat.

All roads / towns are in Oregon:
Day 1:  Portland to Sumpter
Day 2:  Loop around Sumpter
Day 3:  Sumpter to McKenzie Bridge
Day 4:  McKenzie Bridge to Portland

Day four:  parked with a couple of my riding buddies (both on Street Triples).

Great road just north of McKenzie Bridge, very FT-friendly!

It was nice and cool in the forest, by the time we got back to Portland it was smoky (from the forest fires), hot, and full of traffic.

Sounds like a nice ride.
