Title: Whirring speedo noise?

Whirring speedo?
I just got my '84 on the road the other day. Only about 10 miles on it riding around the neighborhood until I get it tagged. I can hear a slight whirring from, I think, the speedo area. It's kind of hard to tell. The bike sat for 14 years or so.  Is the speedo known for having issues? Can I lube it? I know some bikes you can, others....not recommended. It's not crazy loud and only happens in a small speed window....around ~35 -40 MPH, or so? Needle moves smoothly. Anything else to check?

Have you lubed the cable?
