Hi there,

I've just discovered and joined this forum as the (rare?) owner of an Ascot here in the UK. I imported the bike from the US last year and have been mildly modifying the bike over the winter but with the proviso that it can be returned to original spec. if required, i.e. no cutting or welding. See encl. pic showing the new front end, albeit minus paint.

I'm making a separate posting titled Wiring and Paint which I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with!

BTW, as a longterm bike journalist, I'm regular featuring progress with the bike in Britain's Bike and Classic Bike Guide magazines.
