Title: Longer rear shocks?

I want to raise the rear of the bike as much as possible. I borrowed a 15.75" shocks from a friend, but these were too long, caused the drive chain to wear on the swingarm. I'm thinking about ordering 13.5" or 14" shocks.

I would like to know if there are anyone else how has raised the rear of their FT500?

Yes I did.
I got cb700sc nighthawk rear shocks which are 15 inch. Have a look at my project page how that looks.
Works fine.
