Title: I need rotor removal help
Post by: montanaredneck77 on August 25, 2015, 09:24:53 pm
Can anyone tell me how to remove the rotor without the Honda rotor puller tool? I have the bolt out already but can figure out a way to pull the rotor off and cant afford to buy a tool that I would probably would rarely use.

Buy a metric bolt- M22x1.5 thread & run it in, but you will have to remove the right case cover and(like I did) use a penny to hold your gears from moving while you are cranking down on it.

It has to be longer than the bolt you removed, so it can push on the stud & pop the flywheel off

Thank you for the information. I will try it as soon as I find a place that sells bolts that big here.
