Some Interesting Pics Of A Modified FT500...

That is a CBR600 F2 front end and wheel. I plan on doing something like that but the bike will be set up for flattrack and supermoto.

I believe that front end is an earlier generation. The first gen Hurricane front end has the same fork tube diameter & spacing to slide right up into the original Ascot triple clamps. The early Interceptor 500 front end will also fit, but the front wheel is 16" instead of the more desireable 17" wheel.

You could be right on the forks. I know the wheel is F2, Hurricane has 3 spokes, F2 has 5 and the rotor holes in the Hurricane have a different pattern to them.
DonDDR:
FWIW, Hurricane tubes are 37mm and F2/3 tubes are 41mm.

I looked at the pics closer & even though it's supposed to be the same bike, there are two different sets of wheels on it. In the big pictures above, the wheels are black & have more than three spokes. In the picture of the bike in the turn, the wheels are red three spoke wheels. Hmmm...
I believe that the later generation CBR forks can be used, but you need to swap the triple clamps to make it happen. I think the stearing stem bearing sizes are the same, but I don't know if the stearing stem length will match the Ascot frames stearing stem height. You might have to swap stems in the triple clamps.
