Original plan was to make it swap between the krtt style and a scrambler style within a couple of hours with just bolt on parts. But even at 350Lbs it was way too heavy for me in the dirt so i bailed on that idea. Just going to be in the krtt style from here out. For dirt riding i picked up a Yam xt550 that i tweaked out. Here is a pic of the vt in scrambler form. Honda cr450 front end, mx ohlins rears, gt750 tank which fit great, even picked up some honeycomb from the circle track guys to shield the radiator. Fun build but no good for me :). Bit hot here now so not much time spent in the garage. Will post more pics as i progress and sometime a video, if possible, of it running when done.

Wow, I love how that looks! Did you have any problems with the rear shaft when you raised the back? How long are those ohlins? I have some 380mm suspension comming my way, so I'm curious.
And what about the front end cr450, was that an easy swap? I'm looking for some forks with the same length, who let me keep the original wheel, without too much trouble..
Thanks!!
