Burned Honda Ascot vt500ft project

I took the bike to my house (it was parked 1h drive away, so that was demotivating).

By now I have electricity figures out quite far. Had some problems with the solenloid, but that's fixed now!

Now I'm ready to test for spark, and I think the carbs have to be cleaned. Also I cleaned the inside of the tank (very rusty) and I still have to put in a coating to prevent future rust.

Oh, incase you're wondering: the vt500ft perfectly fits inside a Skoda Fabia 2 Combi!

FT500R:
progress?

Donny026:
Progress: the bike started, took a whole battery, but finally it ran, so that's a win!

Now I'm just ordering parts.. next step would be to spray paint the frame (I found a registered one, but it's rusty). I'm transfering the head bearing aswell.

I want to install ridiculous big off-road/Enduro tires. Does anybody know the maximum size for both front and back? Watch this link for inspiration:

Thanks ahead!
