I think I'm going to see if they can be powder coated two tone. Aluminum colored rims with satin black hubs & spokes. I think if I go solid black that it may be too much black & not enough contrast. I need to consult with the powder coater again & see what all he can do.

Well... I went against the poll results & selected an Aluminum colored finish. I thought black would just be too much black & not show up as well. The wheels should be ready for pick up either later today or tomorrow morning. I can't wait to see how they turned out. I just hope that they are not too bright & shiny. I'm not looking for the Bling effect.

Here's a couple of pics of the new tires & the wheels. Here is the build post on the bike so far: http://ascot500.com/index.php?topic=79.0 Right now the bike is all apart waiting to be put back together. It's been slow going due to budget constraints.

It's amazing how much lighter in weight these Hurricane wheels are compared to the OEM Ascot wheels.
