Vacuum petcock - which is vent & which is vent

2 smaller tubes coming off stock petcock.  Which is the vacuum & which is the vent.  Both point toward the inside of the bike.

I don't remember for sure, but I think the short one towards the front of the bike connects to the vacuum port on the carb? I disabled mine several years ago as it was a PITA to crank the motor long enough to fill a dry float bowl, or suck on the tube to fill the bowl.

I tried the one towards the front first.  That's the vacuum.  Now I have to fix my starter
