Hi there. Just picked up an Ascot in decent shape and want to freshen it up a bit, mainly I'm looking for guidance on engine tune. I don't want to throw a bunch of money at this bike with any machine work, just a simple street tune. I was thinking of just running the 38mm mikuni carb that I've read is recommended, thumperstuff head pipe and supertrapp muffler. What can I expect out of this setup? Should I run a modified airbox or a pod filter? And what kind of jetting is going to be best? Thanks.
