Hi J, did you put som protecting / tank sealer in it. It is quite darkbrown inside but no rust seems to be a cind of sealer. While i whait on permission to start the build ( yes we have to ask in norway) i have bougt a new scambler type bar ( or it may be caled texas / western bar?) it gave mutch more feeling / control on the bike.

I'm not certain that is the spare tank that I once owned & sold a few years back. Kind of looks like it from what I recall though.

I never did anything with it. Can't even remember how it came to me at this point.

first test of the ascot tank and the FT seat.  The only noatble problem with the tank fitment came in the peacock erea. A clamp for the ignition cables is to far out, bad welding, had to grind it down. I have to modifie the seat pan in some ereas, on the positive side it is wider and wil cover the frame rails rather beeing on top of them.
