Hi all,

I was wondering what tires would fitt..
as I believe standard is 120-something-18
as I'm going one inch smaller so I'd need 120-90-17 OR 130-90-17
As I'm not sure if anyone has ever fitted 130 tires??

Do you have 17" rims?

The 90 series tire has a tall sidewall. You might consider a 70 series tire.

I have 17" wheels from a first generation CBR600 on my FT500 Ascot. I run Avon Road Riders in 110/70-17 front & 130/70-17 rear.

Generally a lower profile sidewall (to a point) will perform better in the turns.
